(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A 28 year old male was taken into police custody on May 21, 2018 at approximately 12:30 a.m. after receiving several calls for a disturbance outside the Royalton Hotel on Bay Street.
When officers arrived it was discovered that the 28 year old male was asked to leave the bar, he refused to leave and was escorted out after striking an employee.
Once outside he continued to be combative until police arrived.
The male was arrested under the Liquor Licence Act for Being Intoxicated in a Public Place and escorted to the Balmoral Police Station.
He was released with a Provincial Offences ticket once he was sober.
