(MARATHON, ON) – A member of the Marathon detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police pulled over yet another highway speeder in the region.
The male was clocked hitting 145 kilometres per hour in a 90 kilometre per hour zone. An officer flipped on his police lights and executed the traffic stop.
The driver, who police did not name, was charged with numerous offences including Stunt Driving.
Another great job by the OPP in Marathon. It’s hard work out there to keep our highways safer for the motoring public.
Police would like to remind all motorists that speed kills. Slow down, obey posted speed limits and always drive safely, according to conditions.
